Legal team, on the docket this week is a case we’ve covered multiple times and even had one of the victims, ‘Bachelor’ star Clayton Echard, on our show to tell his story. We are diving into the sentencing hearing of Laura Owens that took place just last week. Last we left off, Laura was facing 14 felony charges including fraud, forgery, evidence tampering, identity theft and theft by extortion arising from prosecutor’s allegations that she fabricated pregnancies involving two different men, Clayton Echard and Greg Gillespie. Now that her sentencing hearing is complete, we’re going over the arguments made by both sides, Laura’s parents’ involvement, and how Laura abused the legal system and used it as a weapon to manipulate her victims. We're diving in to every person who testified at the hearing giving our unfiltered thoughts. There is a lot to cover here, so part 2 will be coming next week. What’s on the docket?Laura's felony charges and recap of her crimesJan and Ronn’s bankruptcy and GoFundMe for Ronn’s Parkinson’s disease medical billsJan and Ronn’s creditors meeting and the importance of the description in the GoFundMeLaura’s plea deal, settlement conference, and continued negotiationsWhat Laura pleaded guilty toAttorney Nicole Northup’s presentation about Greg GillespieThe legal back and forth between Laura Owens and Greg GillespieEd Leiter’s presentation about Clayton EchardOur thoughts on why Laura targeted ClaytonClayton Echard’s address to the courtStormy Mitchell’s victim impact letterGreg Gillespie’s victim impact statementDetective Beau’s response to Laura’s counsel’s mitigation in the investigation following Judge Mata’s referralLaura’s domestic violence protective order against Mike MaracciniThe state’s requested sentencing for LauraAccess additional content and our Patreon here: https://linktr.ee/thebravodocketThe Bravo Docket podcast, the statements we make whether in our own media or elsewhere, and any content we post are for entertainment purposes only and do not provide legal advice. Legal team, we are ending our coverage on the ladies from the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip here. On the docket this week is Real Housewives of New York icon Luann de Lesseps featuring a recap of an earlier episode we did about her arrest (linked below), as well as the lawsuits she faced from her ex-husband, Alexandre, and her two children, Victoria and Noel, which she found out about through the press and then proceeded to blame her relapse on. We go through the details of her plea agreement, probation, and the preliminary injunction that helped resolve the family lawsuit. And we also discuss how her arresting officer ended up getting charged himself for crimes that were a complete failure of our justice system. Listen until the end to hear us answer some more of your questions from our last Q&A — what made us become lawyers? Are we going to Bravo Fan Fest? And, how do we manage work/life balance? Legal team, we are continuing our series on the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip ladies and also closing out our discourse on Porsha Williams, RHOA star, and her legal cases. If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode, we go through her divorces from both Kordell Stewart and Simon Guobadia. On the docket this week is Porsha’s defamation lawsuit that Simon filed against her, which overlaps with the divorce timeline. In July 2024, Porsha posted four slides on her Instagram stories, to her 7.7 million followers at the time, sharing information on erectile dysfunction with the hashtag #menshealthawareness only months after her and Simon filed for divorce. Even though Simon was not named in the posts, blogs took it and ran with it, as well as the public, and later that year, Simon filed a federal complaint against Porsha asserting defamation per say, infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy. We’re diving into Simon’s complaint, Porsha’s counter-arguments, and where this lawsuit currently stands. What’s on the docket?Porsha and Simon’s traditional Nigerian Edo native custom ceremonySimon’s federal defamation complaint against Porsha Simon’s detainment and deportationOur conflicting opinions on whether or not Simon had a right to file this lawsuitWhat is needed to prove defamationPorsha’s motion to dismiss, Simon’s amended complaint, and Porsha’s renewed motion to dismissTruth is an absolute defense and false statement of fact argumentsPorsha’s discovery requestsPorsha’s motion to compel discovery and Simon’s objectionsFalse light invasion of privacy claimWhat is a transactional attorneyThe Court's final order Importance of staying in your lane as a lawyerAccess additional content and our Patreon here: https://linktr.ee/thebravodocketThe Bravo Docket podcast, the statements we make whether in our own media or elsewhere, and any content we post are for entertainment purposes only and do not provide legal advice. Legal team, we have another episode in our series covering the legal issues of the real housewives on Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. On the docket this week is Porsha Williams, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, and her various lawsuits involving her ex-husbands. As a housewife cast member, Porsha has really grown, and although her love life is in the best place it’s ever been right now, her legal issues from her past relationships with former NFL player Kordell Stewart and entrepreneur Simon Guobadia are far from sweet. From contentious divorces to deportation issues, to having to ask the Georgia court to enforce her prenup — Porsha has been through the wringer with these men. Once a trad wife learns from one irretrievably broken marriage, she’ll make sure there’s a favorable prenup in the next one! What’s on the docket?Porsha’s growth on the Real HousewivesBackground of Porsha’s marriage with former NFL player Kordell StewartKordell’s divorce petition and confidentiality agreementWhat Porsha got to keep in the divorce with Kordell per the settlementBackground on Simon GuobadiaMessy beginning to Simon and Porsha’s relationship with FalynnHighlights from Porsha’s prenup with SimonPorsha’s divorce petitionSimon’s counter claim and allegations agains PorshaJudge’s discovery verdict and final order on Simon and Porsha’s prenupStatement of facts from Porsha’s filed motion to enforce the prenupThe Scherer Test (Georgia Prenuptial & Postnuptial Agreements)Simon’s immigration issues and ICE detentionAccess additional content and our Patreon here: https://zez.am/thebravodocket The Bravo Docket podcast, the statements we make whether in our own media or elsewhere, and any content we post are for entertainment purposes only and do not provide legal advice. Legal team, Cesie is here to continue our Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip series on behalf of the show’s ‘Roaring 20th’ special. On the docket this week, Cesie is giving updates on both Vicki Gunvalson and Lisa Barlow’s legal issues. We’ve covered all of these before (prior episodes linked below), but more has unfolded in both housewives’ cases. Cesie breaks down what happened between Vicki’s company, Coto Insurance, and plaintiff, one of her clients. Is this a case of bad financial consulting, or even elder abuse? Plus Vicki is now trying to bring her OWN claims against her client! Then Cesie dives into Lisa’s legal trouble with her brand Vida Tequila. In Lisa’s Watch What Happens Live appearance and at the Dismissed Lunch, she stated that all of the legal cases against her had been dismissed, but in doing some late-night digging, Cesie figured out that there might be more to the story. TRIGGER WARNING: Domestic violence. Resources linked below.Legal team, Angela is solo today and taking a detour from the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip lawsuit and legal issues coverage to talk about Below Deck. There has been a lot going on this season of Below Deck Mediterranean regarding the former bosun Nathan Gallagher and what is unraveling in real time for his legal partner Gael Cameron. While being in an active storyline on television with new episodes coming out weekly, Nathan Gallagher is dodging international arrest warrants for his domestic violence offenses. Angela discusses maritime issues, mechanics of a plea in absentia, and some very famous cases of people trying to use yachts to escape paying taxes, felony charges, and international crimes, including Scientologist founder L. Ron Hubbard and former White House Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon. Despite Nathan Gallagher’s criminal offenses taking place before filming Season 11 of Below Deck, Angela shares why she doesn’t think it’s production’s fault for missing this information in his background check. But since this information has come to light, Bravo has terminated Nathan, and Angela explains why it’s only a matter of time before he is caught. What’s on the docket?Overview of Season of 11 Below Deck Med Nathan Gallagher’s criminal charges and his active bench warrantNathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron’s relationship timelineOrigin of Boxing DayNathan and Gael’s violent DV dispute on Boxing Day in Sydney, Australia that led to his arrestThe penalties for Nathan’s criminal chargesWhat Nathan claimed happened to arresting officersCriminal and legal data that tracks domestic homicideDecember 27, 2025 risk profile for Nathan’s bailWhat happened on Nathan’s trial day (September 1st, 2026)The Sixth Amendment and what that means for criminal procedures in the U.S.Crosby v. Legal team, in honor of our 200th episode, we thought it would be fun to answer your questions (from Instagram and Patreon) and give you our honest, unfiltered thoughts. We entertain some Bravo hypotheticals—which housewife would we love to represent in court? If we could subpoena the unedited footage from any single Bravo event, what would we choose and what would we hope it proves? Which housewives would we send to jail (for non criminal reasons)? And answer juicy questions like have we ever had a housewife reach out and be angry at our coverage? Who sent us a cease and desist letter? What topics do we stray away from? How do we feel about Erika now? And we also give Bravo some ideas on how they could partner with us in their content. Thank you all for your questions!
