Episode has been correctly UPDATED! Apologies for the inconvenience!Lara and Carey are back with another Genius Alert, this time with novelist and former criminal defense attorney, Anna Dorn. They discuss law school being a scam, stanning David Rudolf, and the proper southern girl to LA lesbian pipeline. Then Anna invites SUP to come with her back to 2014, where the first season of Southern Charm makes landfall in Charleston. They discuss the sixth episode in the seminal (and deeply troubling) first season, where Thomas Ravenel's and Kathryn Calhoun Dennis' torrid love story exists in its nascent stage. Reeling from their drunken fight on Carolina Day, Whitney plans to bury his hatchet with sometimes-bestie Thomas, as Cameran tours a clearly haunted house with her new boss, Eve, and gets drinks with her bestie Jenna aka Che Diaz aka Beetlejuice; Craig goes off to his fake job at the law firm; Both Pat and pal Brian advises Whitney to not go into the restaurant business with Shep; Thomas gets the OK from his “political consultant” about dating a 21-year-old.Then, Mr. Ravenel summons the crew to his boozy abode, where he evokes Tennessee Williams in a speech about staying true to yourself and calls out Shep, Dani and Whitney for being fake ass bitches. He also reveals his biggest regret in life involving a beverage cart girl, much to the chagrin of Kathryn. Not surprisingly, Craig slut-shames Kathryn in front of Thomas, who does nothing to defend the honor of the future mother of his children. Just another day in Good Ol’ Charleston…Timestamps: 00:00:00 Welcome Anna Dorn! 00:05:58 Selma Blair 00:09:36 Southern Charm Intro 00:16:54 Southern Charm S1E6 RecapListen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast. Lara and Carey return to the slopes of God’s most prized state of Utah to check in with the salty broads once more. First they discuss Carey’s skin related mishap, the strange choices one makes when alone sans-husband, and then they debate The Real Lizzie Holmes — her true nature, the Billy problem, and what lies ahead for America’s favorite fraudster. Then on RHOSLC, Angie hosts Mary for a BFF catch up at her dentist office atop the acropolis; Angie does too much in the hosting department, causing Mary to raise an eye brow as she recaps the San Francisco trip and the hypocrisy and bullshit of it all. Britani hosts Bronwyn, Heather and Wild Rose at her daughter Olivia’s 21st birthday. Bronwyn laments the Glam Kittens and their musical cruelty while revealing Todd caught her splurging on Brandon in Florida using Mr. Fart’s hallowed credit card. Mary assembles the ladies for a boss lady themed power lunch to thank them for their kindness in the wake of RJ’s passing; Angie does not follow dress code and Britani brings nasty weed flowers. Wild Rose has it out with Meredith and Lisa, and then moves onto Quai, who claims Whitney recorded Quai talking smack about Meredith in her home. After the lunch, Wild Rose and Quai reach a tentative truce; Heather, Lisa, Angie and Mary head to Gossip Kitchen where Angie plays coy about her rocky marriage and the crew calls BS on Bronwyn’s House of Cards…Timestamps: 00:0:00 Carey's Nair Disaster 00:07:42 Tim McGraw & Aaron Sorkin on Tanning Peptides 00:10:49 Lizzie Holmes Analysis 00:35:08 RHOSLC S7E6 RecapListen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast. Lara and Carey welcome back friend of the pod, club visionary, and cultural lightning rod Rob Aquino to the SUP stu for another chapter of GENIUS ALERT. They talk Rob’s New York to LA trajectory, bringing 2013 New York to the LA party scene, the splendor of early 2000s Long Island and more. Then Rob brings Larz and Carz back to 2002 Manhattan, where MTV’s Rich Girls starring Aly Hilfiger and Jaime Gleicher kicks off its oft-maligned one season wonder. Aly and Jaime, best friends and 18 going on 55, are finishing off their senior year of high school with an unenthusiastic prom obligation. They do a day of shopping blitz, with help from indie sleaze sleep paralysis daemon “Michael H.” Aly talks about her time on Ari Onassis’s legendary yacht “The Christina” while Jaime angsts over limo payment and inviting her prom date via voicemail. After securing the limo, Aly and Jamie invite their crew to pre-prom festivities at Jaime's mom’s divorce pad/cig den. Jaime's unrequited love/frenemy, Michael, arrives to suck face with his dad and skimp out on paying Jaime and Aly for the limo. Prom goes off without a hitch, and the Rich Girls head to the after party, where they rock it till the wee hours of the morning. Then they run into Mischa Barton and Jaime's date pukes up a storm.Timestamps: 00:00:17 Welcome (back) Rob Aquino! 00:05:08 2013 Brooklyn 00:10:37 Haunted Gay Clubs 00:16:20 Rich Girls S1E1 Recap!Listen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast. They talk the GIRLS revival officially announced by Lena & Co., Lara’s foray into the Carrie Amazon series, as well East of Eden, Zoe Kazan’s stint in gay jail for her chilling turn in It’s Complicated, Selma Blair’s mid-air terrorism, one influencer’s controversial earthquake thirst traps, and more. Then on RHOSLC, the San Francisco nightmare continues as Wild Rose confesses her own imploding marriage to Patron Saint of Divorce: Heather. Bronwyn breaks girl code by sneaking Brandon on the trip in the dead of night, and takes the ladies on a booze cruise tour of the city. Angie tries and fails to bully Lisa over her compulsive lip lining, then is struck by karmic seasickness, where Baby G and DJ Meredith scheme up a surprise performance for later.Bronwyn throws a rindom disco party for the Salty Queens and her strange assortment of SF friends, leaving more unanswered questions about her mysterious past (and arrangement with Todd.) Lisa and Meredith form the girl group Glam Kittens and team up for the performance of a lifetime. Lara and Carey welcome Emmy Award-winning writer, comedian, and native Philadelphian Gabe Liedman to the SUP Stu. They discuss Carey and Gabe’s origin story, the most lowkey home invasion in history, the eternal connection between Bonvoy and Gay, the retail-to-TRL writer pipeline, and more. Then Gabe leads the time loop back to 1998 Seattle, where we lay our scene: the immortal seventh season of the Real World, episode 15 "Irene Calls it Quits." Nearing the end of their tenure on the pier, Janet, Nathan, David, Rebecca, Stephen and Lindsay’s bond is threatened by the Lyme-wrought unraveling of Irene. Plagued by her illness, Irene quits her job at the radio and decides, after consulting her relaxation therapist, the best thing she can do is leave the show. Blindsided, the group reels from this 180; Janet reveals a shocking twist and Stephen’s annoyance with Irene mounts to a fever pitch. After several soliloquies, a missing stuffed animal, and a final breakfast, Irene departs but not before some tense parting words with Stephen… which leads to a waterlogged plush dog and a closeted gay slap heard ‘round the world.Listen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast. Lara and Carey go back for their hearts in San Francisco, but first they discuss the demonic fly swarm taking over Lara’s garden and the woman who pleasured herself on an American Airlines flight.Another morning in SF, and Bronwyn is up early to download Muzzy on all the previous night’s drama and guzzle some Dr. Pepper. Heather and Angie discuss Heather’s love cocoon with Tripp while Angie reveals the martial crisis currently befalling her and Shawn. At brunch, Wild Rose mourns the cracking friendship between her and Quai; Brittany does some detective work about the true owner of Bronwyn and Todd’s Salt Lake mansion.Bron divides the women for the day’s activities: Angie, Lisa B, Meredith and Quai go to an antique vibrator store while Bron, Whit, Heather and Britani go vintage shopping. Britani confronts Bronwyn over the sale of her house and her Swiss cheese divorce settlement(s) with Todd. Then, the ladies head to dinner in Chinatown, where Lisa wins a dumpling making contest, and the vintage ladies (minus Britani, of course) all receive sex store gifts. When tensions bubble to the surface, Bronwyn’s dildo becomes a talking stick, with each lady making her case; Wild Rose calls out Quai for her Meredith slander while Angie calls out Lisa for excessive lip lining.Listen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast. Lara and Carey are back with another rendition of GENIUS ALERT, and this time they’re joined in the stu by comedian, clown, and bisexual icon Zack Zucker, whose variety special “Stamptown” is out now on Netflix. They talk Zack’s trajectory from suburban Hudson Valley boy to internationally renowned clown, the LA clown scene, getting rimmed on stage in London, and his profound adoration of SURVIVOR. He leads Larz and Carz into a recap of his favorite Survivor episode: Episode 10 of Season 20 “Going Down in Flames" from Heroes vs. Villains. The Hero and Villain tribe finally merge after nearly a month, and to celebrate, they eat a ham with their hands; Parvati’s dastardly reputation finds her alienated from the group, especially when she goes for the heroes’ banana supply. Russell and his satanic imp-magic bewitch some of the men, including JT, and Sandra’s long game battle plan continues its behind-the-scenes path. Parvati finagles another immunity idol from Russell, in addition to the one she already has. Uncle Jeff challenges the tribe to hold onto poles for as long as they can. Danielle wins, and the crew heads into that night’s tribunal, where Parvati — in a stunning, last minute power play — turns the tables using her immunity and psychic sorcery.Listen to this episode ad-free AND get access to weekly bonus episodes + video bonus episodes by joining the SUP Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sexyuniquepodcastWatch video episodes of the pod every week by subscribing to the SUP YouTube: p@sexyuniquepodcastRelive the best moments of this iconic podcast by following the SUP TikTok: @sexyuniquepodcastGet Lara’s outfit details and podcast candle recs on ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/shop/larzmarie Hosted on Acast.
