Episode Notes In this Choice Cuts special, the Reanimators are joined by a consulting 'Doc' Tracey to each share 2 of our personal favorite Call of Cthulhu scenarios featured on the Miskatonic Repository, regardless of how much we've reanimated them. We also give a nod to how easy or difficult we think it would be for GMs to run, in case anyone new to CoC would like to run something different for their groups besides The Haunting, The Necropolis, and Edge of Darkness. ;) You'll find each of the scenarios we cover in the list below, along with a DTRPG link to purchase a copy for yourself, and a time-stamp in case you'd like to skip around and leave some of these choice cuts unspoiled for yourself. Episode Notes In this episode, we dissect and reanimate the Delta Green scenario BLACKSAT, written by Greg Stolze and Shane Ivey, which is part of the Control Group collection. This scenario stands out among other DG operations as a unique one-shot where the PCs are astronauts not familiar with "The Conspiracy™️", however, you can expect some... turbulence at launch without a bit of TLC. Since one of the Reanimators has more than a little experience actually training astronauts, we brainstorm new ideas and advice to help make your next run of the scenario a mission success. Are there any more puns that I can make? PS - this episode has my favorite post-credits blooper, so be sure to stick around past the ending music for that 🍑🪄 Links: You can find the scenario at: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/273935/delta-green-control-group or https://shop.arcdream.com/products/delta-green-control-group Holly's AP of the scenario on our YouTube channel The referenced Roleplaying Public Radio (RPPR) AP of the scenario on their YouTube channel A collage map of the shuttle using official NASA images and some stat blocks for the antagonist on our shared file drive Intro & outro music: "In the Mouth of Madness" by Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio. Episode Notes In this episode, we dissect and reanimate the Delta Green scenario Viscid written by Dennis Detwiller. We give our reviews and GM advice for running this scenario both as a monster hunting one-shot and/or as part of a longer dive into conspiracy elements. Episode Notes In this episode, we dissect and reanimate the scenario Tell Me, Have You Seen the Yellow Sign? originally written for Call of Cthulhu by Kevin A. Ross with special guest Zander, who ran this scenario for us using the Trail of Cthulhu system. We discuss the reanimations they made to innovate the scenario in their run, as well as other opportunities for GM advice. Note: The patreon thanks shout-out is outdated compared to when we first recorded this discussion, but I kept it in for the chuckles as I floundered to make a joke. Episode Notes In this episode, we review and reanimate the scenario Jack Frost written by Shane Ivey for Delta Green. Holly recently ran this scenario three times back-to-back-to-back as an It's Alive! actual play on our YouTube channel, and we have a lot to say to try and address some of the issues we had with it and provide some GM tips, advice, and inspiration! Episode Notes In this episode, we conclude our dissection review and reanimation advice for Impossible Landscapes by hearing from some other GMs - found wandering the mists of Carcosa - so that they can share some additional perspectives and recommendations. Needless to say, each of these discussions will span the entirety of the campaign, so there are spoilers abound. In order, we interview: Tom Ogas from the Stories & Lies podcast, which is linked below (start @ 2:09) Zander, an excellent GM who has run several APs for our podcast (start @ 25:36) Joe, Brad, and Dace from the Green Box Gaming podcast, also linked below (start @ 1:30:03) You can find the Delta Green campaign at: Arc Dream's Store and DrivethruRPG Stories & Lies podcast website Green Box Gaming podcast website IL Campaign handouts and resources we can share on our lab's Google Drive . Episode Notes In this episode, we continue our dissection review and reanimation advice for the campaign Impossible Landscapes written by Dennis Detwiller for Delta Green by diving into the fourth chapter End of the World of the End, which covers the finale of this epic campaign. We briefly summarize the chapter, discuss it's strengths and weaknesses as written, and then, since we aren't really fans of how this final chapter is laid out, we then cover an overview of the chapter followed by explanations of how each of us would run this final section based on our own styles and internal philosophies regarding Carcosa and the nature of the King in Yellow. We've listed timestamps with as few spoilers as possible below in case GMs are interested in jumping to specific parts they may be looking for advice on: 2:32 - Beating Heart (key themes) 5:51 - Strengths & Limitations as Written 13:38 - Beginning Deep Dive; Guiding Principles 28:42 - Introducing How We Would Run the Ending 29:06 - How Nathan Would Run It 37:09 - How Alex Would Run it 43:31 - How Holly Would Run it 56:08 - How Lex Would Run it 1:09:45 - The Party 1:17:28 - Closing Thoughts You can find the campaign at: Arc Dream's Store and DrivethruRPG Bud's RPG Review IL Campaign episode for the chapter for a more thorough by-the-book summaries Campaign handouts and resources we can share on our lab's Google Drive .
