Tonight’s guest, Arthur Wach, had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1977, when he was 13 years old. He was fishing on the Platte River near Gothenburg, Nebraska, with his dad and brother. Arthur’s dad was about 50 feet down the bank from him, and his brother was about 50 feet beyond their dad.They had been fishing for a while when Arthur suddenly sensed someone or something walking behind him. At first, he thought it was his dad, because when he looked down the bank, his dad was no longer there. Arthur grabbed his fishing pole and tackle box and headed down a trail through the brush toward the spot where his dad had been fishing.As he followed the trail, Arthur looked for his dad’s tracks. Instead, he found a series of large, bare footprints leading to the water’s edge. He had no idea what could have left them. When he reached the last print, he lifted his gaze and saw what had made them.That sighting was only the first of many Sasquatch-related experiences Arthur has had over the years.
